Your stamina is absolutely amazing.  It must take an enormous amount of time and energy to read and respond to all the blogs that you do.  Considering your thoughtful and elaborate content as well.  You have my total respect, Sweetie.

With regards to your ' List of Peeps ' quoted above, I can only surmise by saying ... ' That is what real family is all about ', ... regardless of genetics.

Your positive energy and untiring efforts are making a huge impact here, in bringing the blogs back to life.  Surely all can see that.  Keep up the good work, Darling.

I do want to thank MM for allowing Cut Http's to be allowed to be pasted for thought clarification, and/or Artful Sharing. We all have different personalities-POV's, and get Creative at times. I'll try to do my part! :-)

Hi Stan,

What you have cited above, sounds quite acceptable.  I see no problem in doing such.

The Peeve that sends me and some of us ' to the couch ' , is when blog after blog is filled with nothing more than cut and paste stuff from " The Society of Experts " ... with absolutely no dialogue, no follow up, no debate, nothing from the so called ' author '.

How can someone call themself  ' The Author ', when they have not created anything original here or anywhere ?.

That my friends, is the burning question.

I M H O

Glad someone else found out that most of our blogs on here can be Googled and read in full.  I tried to tell everyone that a couple of years ago.  Even showed an example, as I recall.  Someone, I forget who, popped in to say that he or she tried to do it with several blogs and couldn't find a thing on the internet, hence, I was wrong.  And might I add that the same goes for some other blogs forums as well.  Even ones most of us think no one pays any attention to or even knows about.

Hello Pat, Nice to see you.

The google aspect is actually quite correct.  In fact it is how I 'landed here', after trying to find a certain space probe on the inter-net.   The rest as they say, is history.

Seems somewhat ironic though, if a blogger is concerned about being read. Isn`t that what it is all about.  Once launched into cyberspace, there is no telling where the stuff may land or float out there for light years to come.

Getting back to Earth, is Punxsutawney Phil still alive ?.

Keep Well,

~~ Inspector darling!!...~~ (Be sure to insert my fake British accent there.. Kiss Kiss!)

I did not dislike the man.... I just felt sad for his woes. But in my book if one complains something does not work and someone offers advice on what to try... TRY IT!!! Don't be offended so easily!

TRUTH SERUM HERE MY PEEPS!

There are times MANY of us have been at odds here. We are people. It is human nature.

I have not seen eye to eye with a couple where it has gotten a wee bit out of control. You know what? We get reeled in by the ones who guide us to pull the reigns in.

WE LIVE.. WE LEARN.. WE GROW!!!!

I do not always agree with DAKOTA 100%... he is a bit of a "square" for me and my wild ways... (though we agree mostly politically) BUT GUESS WHAT? When it comes to humor and respecting someone.. DAK is top notch! I do NOT take it personally. We are not supposed ot agree 100% of the time with everyone!

Lady DI? OMG! What a loving and beautiful woman she is... Sometimes I agree with her to the tee... And other times, esp where politics is concerned, I could not disagree more. But I always RESPECT her thought process and enjoy hearing what she has to say! MANY OF US HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR YEARS!!

EASYMAN? He tends to come and go here more than most. We have agreed and disagreed possibly more times than my last husband! LoL... And I enjoy it when he comes in and shoots his spheel... I never know if we are going to agree or not.... but most of us genuinely LIKE one another...

WE ALL ADD SOMETHING OF VALUE TO THE TABLE...

And you know what?

We can ALL "learn" something from each other...

DIANE teaches "compassion," while DAKOTA teaches old-fashioned values. EASY brings a more centered yet open worldly view to life... SILVER wants to accept and embrace all... Even O had a need to "teach." PAT/CURIOUS.. I miss that woman, always had a forth right way about her, but in a practical and tough sense... (Where the heck is she anyway?)

DON (DON'TFITMOLD) Tends to come up with the most awesome and often appropriate pictures to add value with very few words... Our beautiful, soft spoken SARAH has her sweetness and innocense about her and her love for children she teaches. LIVNLOVE (I have got to write that woman) was wickedly smart and a strong, unique individual. WINDY has her diplomatic ways about her, while remaining strong and added her undeniable love for animals in the mix.

In other words...

We KNOW one another.... even if it just be via space and time shared here...

Now we have a few more added and it is a delight to see this!

So embrace one another and be yourself... WHY NOT? Who else can be a better you?

SILVER- do you recall when we had a falling out? IT HAPPENS. We get over it, shake hands or kiss and move forward...

KIND OF LIKE IN REAL LIFE...

WE ACT LIKE BIG KIDS!!! It's awesome!!

AND WE ALL ADD VALUE...

So let's have fun and talk REAL TALK....

Some may need quotes to get their thoughts out, while others can write astounding prose that gains your attention.

Regardless, we should all be embracing one another..

And now and again, we disagree...

Inspector, you got your feelings hurt. You and I are "sensitives".. romantics.. It happens.

I hope some of the newer members will understand what we are about and open up and share more.

In the end, we grow..

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL PROCESS!!!

Hello Stan,

That is a good observation of yours.  On the bright side to it,  I was able to peruse through some older blogs, Orlando`s for example, and find my comments that were quoted by others, still remain.  It was entertaining to read them after all.  Especially on some of those controversial fun topics.

I like your analogy regarding,  ' many avenues for foresight and open mindedness to gain insight '.

There is no need to apologise, you are doing fine.  To address the concerns of your additional  Peeve regarding the time it takes for posts to appear,  I feel a lot has to do with the various time zones we are in.  From East to West Coast and across The Pond.

Also the fact that m / m  reserves the right to monitor the content based on their protocols, ... so relax.

Yes, all too often e-mails get misconstrued, sans facial expressions.  This is also a major factor with inter-net dating, where people tend to hear what they want to hear, instead of what you are saying.  Perhaps the reason for those ' smile ' and related icons ?.

Aaah ! ...  The Professor.  We actually became good friends over the phone in his latter days.  I just checked and it seems like much of his stuff is still here. Type in ' Orlando ' in the blog search box ... voila !.

Some of his ' Research ' was pretty fun, like the one titled  " Men who cheat are more likely to break their Penis ".  Check it out.   Orlando did interact with us, but annoyed some.

Thanks for sharing,

**  S L  **

** S L **

Thanks for the info. I hadn't really considered the time zones thing, but I do think it is more likely to do with MM holding things up due to their monitoring... it's not the end of the world of course and I am actually quite relaxed about it, but it's a peeve none the less.

I actually think that you raise a very valid and good point with regard to the "smileys"... I have always made good use of them with online chats, (however annoying some people might find them) because I think they at least allow you to add some kind of emotion (hence their other name emoticons).  Wiki actually has a perfect description of this...

An emotion icon, better known by the portmanteau emoticon is a metacommunicative pictorial representation of a facial expression which in the absence of body language and prosody serves to draw a receiver's attention to the tenor or temper of a sender's nominal verbal communication, changing and improving its interpretation. It expresses — usually by means of punctuation marks (though it can include numbers and letters) — a person's feelings or mood, though as emoticons have become more popular, some devices have provided stylized pictures that do not use punctuation.

In Western countries, emoticons are usually written at a right angle to the direction of the text. Users from Japan popularized a kind of emoticons called kaomojis (顔文字, often confused with emojis in the West) that can be understood without tilting one's head to the left. This style arose on ASCII NET of Japan in 1986.

As social media has become widespread, emoticons have played a significant role in communication through technology. They offer another range of "tone" and feeling through texting that portrays specific emotions through facial gestures while in the midst of text-based cyber communication.

I'd love to see them added to the blogs here on MM, but I don't think it's likely to happen if they've been around for 14 years and haven't already added them yet.

Ahhhh... Orlando... I know who you mean now... I read some of the threads in the forums a while ago and remember reading a few of his posts... I must confess, I don't recall reading the "Men who cheat are more likely to break their penis" thread though... without having even read it, I can already imagine what some of the comments were like though.

As always, thanks for your thoughtful response... take it easy out there.

MARYCLAIRE!!

You are certsanly very welcomed for the input. I have been here off and on for years now...   am accustomed to the drill...

It is kind of you to try and help women who appear to be in distress. Most people do not seem to bother to help others. My irritant is when one goes out of their way sincerely, only to be ignored.

As LEON stated, we can quote others remarks. I usually do so as this leaves the post there for me to read. I try my best to answer questions and be concise in my answers. As stated, I am not a fan of being ignored, so regardless the topic, I try my best not to ignore others. But yes, should you wish to remove YOUR comment, if someone else has quoted you, it will still appear in their response.

But that wasn't what your question referred, anyway.

I hope this finds you well and I look forward to further conversing! ;)

Hello SL thanks for the invite :); so i try to answer the call. As I recall you are the poet of this impetuously disturbed platform, which was refreshing to read.

As far as V, because he is mentioned, I may say, that, as you said it so well "he was burned on the cross", I was attacked in e-mails for "defending him" while in fact I was attempting to try that people reconcile, as adults, after a tsumani. But this misunderstanding for attempting to stop the radical religious (as what I concluded a priori) costed me lots with MM. These people did not realize the harm they can do if one member doesn't think necessarily the same way or at least being patient to  understand what's really all about.

So the lesson I get, is that some have a double personality of some sort: one in public, here, appearing on their best  facade, while they are really playing crazy in private. They need the couch pronto, not those like you who bring things in the light of transparency.

And concur with Diana, and stil find her so patient and salute you too!! (waves).

WoW SL~~ I hadn't heard that name in quite some time!! When you spoke of "Dr." (or someone did) I thought they referred to that doc that came in and started telling people how to make a marriage last and was all up on his "Christian" high horse! Remember him? He was a widow.

As for O? Well, I liked him, but I was one that eventually became annoyed as I am a genuine blogger. I grow tired of people when all they do is COPY AND PASTE OTHER PEOPLE'S WORDS. And I tried to discuss it privately with him and he ignored me. Then he got upset and blocked me from all his postwhen I addressed him publicly. I dont respect that. I am far from a passive individual and I wear my big girl panties to a party. (In my case, that means a thong ;) HA! )  So if a person can't take a straight shooter, they best get out of the line of my fire.

He told everyone he had been on so many dates, even 3 a week, yet still hadn't found anyone he clicked with? REALLY? I can't possibly imagine WHY? Even picked one up in a helicopter for the first date. I said it like it was..

Any man or woman having 3 different dates in one week and wondering WHY he can't find the one? Well it is obvious you haven't devoted that much time to getting to know a woman before asking her out. And three dates a week? SERIOUSLY? Let me be the first to inform men..

DON'T ASK ME OUT IF YOU ALREADY HAVE 2 OTHER DATES LINED UP FOR THE WEEK. IT'S INSULTING!  All that says is you're throwing enough spaghetti so hopefully something sticks! That's about as bad as shows like THE BACHELOR! It shows "desperacy" and no woman desires a desperate man anymore than a man wants a desperate woman for more than one nght! I told him these things privately and he blocked me. I find this childish and immature. I don't play games. I call it like I see it, and if people disagree, feel free to tell me. I'm a grown woman. But PASSIVE PEOPLE? ICK!!

You have to be a strong individual to hang with the princess! And it doesn't matter if you have the highest of IQ's in the room or not. If you can't speak in your own words, DON'T BOTHER! Even the least intellectual of us can pull up a study or some crap survey on the internet. I was in high hopes he would recognize, he too, has room to grow. I can certainly attest to the growth I have endured over the years LISTENING to others and opening up to their thought process... as well as being blasted by friendly fire!!! ;)

Best wear your big boy pants for this rodeo, cowboys! ;)

To answer your question ;  We have all experienced that at some point or another after being here for a while.

I had discussed that issue with m / m, and the response was ... The post may have contained some element the monitor found unsuitable, offensive etc.  Perhaps ?.

The simple solution would be to re-post, being careful of the content, and of course ... keep your fingers crossed that the blog owner does not delete your comment.  That is most important.

Sidenote  ;  While I have your attention, there are instances when I noticed you writing the word ' Quoting ' so & so, and then typing in your response.   In the future, kindly click on the Quote Icon at the base of that particular post and the quote will automatically appear.  You may then proceed to type in your response.

So the lesson I get, is that some have a double personality of some sort: one in public, here, appearing on their best  facade, while they are really playing crazy in private. They need the couch pronto, not those like you who bring things in the light of transparency.

And concur with Diana, and stil find her so patient and salute you too!! (waves).

Dear SEALION

I think I dont need a shrink but it annoys me that my comments are twice removed without any reasonable reason ..I just wanted to help 2 Ladies who are in distressed ..How can I  make it better when I dont have any idea about it ..Please as a Senior blogger to discuss the matter with the site .. Thank you ...

***  Dear Maryclaire  ***

Thanks for the new pseudonym ... Hmm !, I could live with that.

Not a big deal, but just the correct sequence.  Go ahead and try it here and let`s see how it works for you.

Danke meine liebe,
